Leopold Stokowski, one of the great conductors of the 20th century, leads the Westminster Choir (from my amazing alma mater Westminster Choir College) and Marian Anderson in this performance created for those military servicemen fighting in World War II. An amazing performance, and a perfect example of the powerful positive influence classical music can have on the world, particularly when the performance is led by some of the best musicians of all time.
